My love for sustainable marketing developed after an episode of complete burnout. I was working for an agency and my hands were practically glued to my laptop for 3 years. My husband and I took a trip to Portland in 2021 and as we were exploring Hawthorn Avenue, I was popping in and out of our car where I had a hotspot and my laptop because of how many deliverables were required to get these clients results. I could never catch a break! The marketing strategies we were using at this agency had me on a hamster wheel that I couldn't get off of.

If it wasn't obvious, I quit that job. In fact, I'm surprised that I lasted as long as I did, considering how unsustainable the work was. Luckily for me, I didn't ONLY get burnout from this experience, I also gained an insane amount of education and skills that will change my clients businesses and lives!
